BNC1994: a new name for the original BNC

Now that the BNC2014 family of corpora are well established and frequently used in research, the original BNC family of corpora have been renamed BNC1994, or British National Corpus 1994. The change can be seen reflected in the Oxford Text Archive repository here, but numerous legacy references to the BNC, including in the documentation, will remain unchanged. 1994 was the year in which the BNC was first published.
